Rupert Fawcett

Rupert is a British artist and cartoonist whose distinctive work is recognised and sold throughout the world.

He studied at Wimbledon School of Art, Bath Academy of Art and Byam Shaw school of Art. He first came to prominence with the creation of his Fred series of drawings which blended surrealism and humour and became a popular card range selling in millions around the globe. The Fred series generated seventeen books which were translated into various different languages and an extensive range of merchandise. Fred was published in the Mail on Sunday for several years throughout the 1990’s.

Fawcett is also the creator of the Daddy series of books, On the Prowl and more recently Off the Leash which has generated a book series, merchandise range and animations produced by the award-winning Factory animation studio in Manchester.

Fawcett has a social media following of 1.2 million, has appeared in numerous radio and TV interviews and is currently published every month in The Sunday Times Magazine.
