Governance

We will be implementing various frameworks within the structure of the company in order to protect the community and the company as a whole. This will include, but not limited to, processes surrounding decision making and overall accountability.

These will be added to and amended as we add more of our business offerings.

As a baseline, we will be setting up essentially a “board” that will have individuals from various backgrounds to ensure we have all bases covered.

We will also be giving the opportunity for the community to vote on various aspects.

There will also be opportunities where specific investors will be able to vote on their chosen investment pool.

Examples of these are the following:

  1. Since we are opening up our incubator to external submissions we will need to vet these projects and whittle them down to determine which we invest in. We will hold opportunities for the project owners to pitch to us and then as a community we can vote on who / which receives our investment. Depending on how large this grows we may of course have to amend this a little and perhaps have select community members, or layers where the pool grows but this will be determined and agreed upon.

  2. When we open up the diverse ideation pools, investors will have the opportunity to choose if, and which one, they wish to invest in. This will then give them specific rights to have an input into the direction it takes. Again, this may vary about the specific structure and will be a case by case scenario as there isn’t a one size fits all answer. There will also have to be some due diligence and basis on how much someone has invested to ensure we protect the investors. An example being I’m sure we can all agree that there is no point having someone with zero knowledge with regards to something technical, having huge input on how to wire up a circuit system. It would make no sense.

As stated previously, the direction we take will be determined on each individual case, but the community will have the opportunity to have input in various decisions that need to be made.
