Incubator / investment Fund

As part of our business model is furthering technology but also giving the opportunity to help others grow with their business ideas, we will be having an in house incubator.

The overall scope for COOPY LABS / CAPITAL is to diversify the risk by investing in a multitude of sectors as this reduces the risk since we are covering various markets.

This will have multiple layers:

  1. Investing in our own concepts

  2. Individuals will be able to submit ideas that may require seed or accelerator funding

  3. Crowdfunding website where there will be a mix of COOPY vetted projects, and other profiles where someone has uploaded their own ideas. It will come down to your own due diligence and research

  4. Fractionalised investment opportunity

To begin with, we are focusing on 4 main projects with cooling tech being the first investment:

The next generation of environment control solutions that ‘leapfrog’ existing cooling and heating technologies. This results in dramatically improved efficiency, portability and energy saving devices. i.e. Total Environment Control technologies and devices.

Key features to note:

  1. It is significantly smaller

  2. Has no harmful gases, which are damaging to the environment

  3. No moving parts - the usable lifetime is estimated at around a minimum of 25 years

  4. Low energy consumption. Preliminary tests show that it is up to 80% lower than some current cooling solutions

  5. Ability to power it via a small DC cell, for example, a 9V battery or power bank

  6. The engine can be switched “on the fly” to either cooling a room down to -10 C (in tests we have achieved -90 C), or heating it up to 68 C in less than 3 minutes

These are a few of the tech innovations that are already in development and production.

How does this effect you as an investor?

The Coopy Company will be sat at the very top. Everything will filter down and in turn up, to the company, as well as to you as investors.

Depending on at which point we get involved in a project, the company or sometimes you as individual investors directly will be shareholders.

Example:

Part of the pre-sale funds will be used to invest in the Cooling Tech Company. This allows us to take a Seed share holding. That means that any dividends will be routed back to the company.

At this stage, a view will be taken as to the best use of these funds. There will be a board that will determine the best course of action, and often you as investors will be able to have a say / vote. The exact structure of that will be determined as we evolve and grow.

Some potential ways that the funds might be used would be to further develop the project, buy back into the chart for growth, airdrop to investors based on their percentage holdings, etc. The aim is to ultimately grow to a point of having a diversified portfolio which generates a regular stream of revenue that can be claimed in various forms via our dApp.

An additional example when we carry out other investments, or when the kickstarter platform is live, will be Series B shares. This would then allow you as the investor to individually become a shareholder and the dividends would be distributed to you directly. Of course, as a project, like any business, there will be fees involved but that will be determined based on market conditions at the time and, essentially, what the “going rate is”.
